Networking 101: RJ45 Crossover and Straight Through
There are two types of wiring standards T-568A and T-568B,simply Type A or Type B. We will be simply talikg about Type B. The wiring for both wil be done in either Straight Through or Crossover. The devices that are supported by these two wiring are as follows.
Crossover is usually used when two similar types of devices are connected, Straight through is used when two diffrent types of devices are connected.
The order of the color code of each will be as follows:
In straight through: White Orange-Orange-White Green-Blue-White Blue-Green-White Brown-Brown
In crossover: White Green-Green-White Orange-White Brown-Brown-Orange-Blue-White Blue
